In 1987, Steve Kunkemoeller founded the company Solo Products, Inc. and since then Solo has offered its customers customized solutions for the manufacturing of packaging, returnable packaging, and a wide array of die cutting services.
Solo Products has grown rapidly through fast turnaround, a focus on high quality and customer service. Solo’s products can be seen on GM, Chrysler, Toyota, and Nissan and more.
Early on, Solo Products formed a business unit focused on Buzz, Squeak and Rattle tape – BSR Tape. From humble beginnings with one small die cutting press, Solo Products has grown to be a leader in BSR tape and felt cutting. Parts made by Solo are found in most US-made automotive platforms. We now have press sizes up to 40-tons!
