EE-1010, Permacel EPT Foam with Acrylic Adhesive
Permacel EE-1010 is a compressible closed-cell EPT (ethylene-propylene terpolymer) sealing material. It consists of an EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene-methylene) foam with an acrylic adhesive on one side.
EE-1010 seals openings, joints and interfaces by compression of its cell struction. The acrylic adhesive permenantly bonds the foam to the substrate. In addition to sealing, EE-1010 provides sound damping and thermal insulation.
This product is used in building constrution, utilities, automobiles and heating, ventiilation and air conditioning. Some common uses are in skylights, traffic controll devices, telephone equipment and ductwork.
